Hydrangea arborescens ’Emerald Lace’ - trade gallon
Hydrangea arborescens ’Emerald Lace’ - trade gallon Distinctive selection of a native hydrangea species with jagged leaf margins, somewhat fern-like that we got from AL plantsman, Hayes Jackson on a visit to his garden some years back. Flowers are white lacecaps about 4" across. Great textural addition to a woodland garden. Deer will chew it as they will H. quercifolia our other native species, but if you can keep them from defoliating it for the first few years (tomato cage?) you too can enjoy this shrub. Zones 4 - 9.
