Sarcococca orientalis - 3 quart
Sarcococca orientalis - 3 quart A nice, small, evergreen shrub for a shady spot in your garden, Sarcococca orientalis has larger leaves than other Sarcococca species, but with the same, small, fragrant white flowers in mid-winter. The fruit is glossy black when mature. Height 3 plus feet; where happy it will sucker out into wider colonies. For what it's worth, my favorite sarcococca. Zones 6 - 8.

Sarcococca ruscifolia var. chinensis ’Dragon Gate’ - 3 quart
This is the least cold hardy of the 4 different Sweetbox we occasionally grow, hardy for Zones 7 - 9. It’s a selection made by plant explorer Roy Lancaster from Yunnan China near the Dragon Gate Grotto and Dianchi Lake. Grows to about 3 feet and produces fragrant, creamy-white flowers in winter (Feb in GA) and red berries. Good for a shady, evergreen ground cover in a sheltered site.
