A smaller shrub at maturity than ’Mme Emile Mouillere’, Hydrangea macrophylla ’Soeur Thérèse’ is another choice for a white mophead. Reputed to remain pure white, we have seen her tinged with pink as in Mouillere. But this is only on close observation. At any distance, white is what you see. Not as cold hardy as ’Mme Emile Mouillere’ in our experience, but fine nonetheless. Deciduous, for partial shade, in zones 6 - 9. Mature height about 5’ & as wide.
